Pre-Apprentice Curriculum

When you get accepted into the Apprenticeship Program, you will be enrolled in our Pre-Apprentice Curriculum. This is a 12-week program that occurs before your official program with Power Design starts. It is built to prepare you for the topics you will learn in your classes with our Apprentice Instructors. Below are the eLearning courses and resources will be receiving and will be expected to have completed by the time your Apprentice Program begins.
eLearning Courses
You will be completing multiple eLearning courses before your classes begin. These vary in topics including what to expect, construction basics, math basics, safety on the job, and more.



7taps Resources
7taps is a micro-learning course that is sent via link texted directly to your phone. These will be informational resources that will cover topics like Safety, Wellness, Electrical, and soft skills. 

Prepping for a Journeyman's License?

We know how challenging it can be to prepare to take your Journeyman's License exam. That's why we've created some test preps to help with studying. Follow the link below to take some exams that replicate the testing environment using past exams' questions.
